FUCK YES. from vancouver to here, using standard ground shipping, over the thanksgiving weekend, in EIGHT DAYS. i am super-impressed, hive management. and now, i am going to make myself wait until i get home from work tonight to open it. because i hate myself. no, because i really want to enjoy the moment and not have to rush off to work before i'm ready to be done celebrating. and now that it's actually here i am really scared that there's going to be something wrong with it. waiting. waiting. waaaaaaaaaaaiting. ihateit. i have never been the queen of patience, but seriously. i hate waiting. i get fidgety and pestery and talkative and generally annoying-the-shit-out-of-you annoying. in other words, my cd has shipped. it needs to get here before someone kills me for going "i wonder when it's going to get here?!" one too many times. you know what else i hate? having to get dressed. i could sit around in my pyjamas all the freaking time. except when it's too hot for pyjamas. then i'd sit around in my underwear. but noooo, the world has social conventions i have to follow. happy turkey / tofurkey day, canada.
